Westchester Wildcats women's ice hockeyteam looking for players
The Westchester Wildcats ice hockey program, featuring two teams and players 18 years of age and older, is looking for experienced skaters.
Each team plays a minimum of 20 games between October and April. Opponents come from the tri-state area.
For 25 years, the Wildcats have been the premier local women's hockey organization.
But what's old is very new this year.
On a rotating basis, weekly Wednesday night practices will include circuit skilltraining, small-ice scrimmages and team concepts.
A minimum of two, and sometimes as many as six, coaches will be on the ice to offer individual and team instruction.
The emphasis is on fun, camaraderie and playing good hockey.
The season begins with a clinic free to allwomen 18 years of age and older onWednesday, September 8 from 10:00-11:20pm.

Our Learn to Skate Classes start this week. At The Westchester Skating Academy, we are committed to fostering the development of every skater that enters our facility. The "Learn to Skate" program teaches the sport of skating to enthusiast from three years old through adulthood.
